Why can't we all just agree to a time line? Why can't clients remember what they have previously agreed to? Do they even listen? Selective hearing only works in their favor. Hey they are paying the bills so I guess that is their privilege.

Communication barriers are no problem... Just stare quizically at the customer's forehead until he shuts up long enough for you to tell him that you are billing him for the conversation. Then politely say that his idea of a 6 week deadline is the most genius idea you've ever heard.

Good cartoon/dialog.
I'll keep Mr. Echo's suggestion in mind, as it could be very useful in upcoming customer meetings.
